Heather is a native Oregonian who received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Montana. She joined PSU and the Department of Music winter term 2007, after 8 years working for a public library. Ironically, Heather has no musical talent and prefers to listen to 80's hair bands. When she is not helping students and the Department of Music faculty she enjoys reading, sewing, and camping with her brilliant son. She is currently taking classes at PSU for fun and may pursue a second degree in the future. She also makes a mean salad and hand crafts soap for her family.
