Professor Keith Hadley
Professor Keith Hadley

Long interested in the complexities and nuances of the natural world, Dr. Hadley's teaching and research interests focus on the spatial and temporal patterns of environmental change. Specifically, Dr. Hadley seeks to understand how natural and anthropogenic disturbance such as windstorms, fire, mudflows, and management alter forest composition, structure, and succession. Much of his research includes the examination of tree-rings to further assess the timing and magnitude of tree-growth responses to past climate conditions, fire, insect outbreaks, and other ecological processes.
