Project Description:

The primary aim of this partnership is to analyze data collected by the TriMet Bus Dispatch System to improve transit planning, scheduling, and operations. This is largely achieved through analysis of automatic vehicle location and automatic passenger counter data. The desired outcome of the research is to provide better (more reliable) service to passengers in a more cost effective manner.
