Michael Clark is Associate Professor of English and the Coordinator for the Minor in Film Studies at PSU. His background is in twentieth century literature, philosophy, and literary theory. He is also a lawyer, so among the many things he'll be doing as Director of the Portland Center for Public Humanities, is to sponsor some lectures on the relationship between law and the humanities, psychoanalysis and the humanities, and much more.
