Tania Sanchez is PSU’s Bilingual Admissions Counselor. A PSU alumna, Tania majored in Spanish. Like many students, Tania began her academic career at PCC before transferring to PSU and has plans to begin a Master’s program in the near future. Tania worked for the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber before working at Portland State.

Academic interests: My interests revolve around student affairs. Being able to effectively communicate with students from all backgrounds is very important to me. I am devoted to assisting students and community members by providing direction and support as they seek to improve their lives via education.
Favorite Thing About PSU: I love the fact that PSU strives to give students tools to succeed and empowers them to become resources in their communities.
Favorite Thing About Portland: I love Portland’s hipster culture and interesting people. It’s unique atmosphere allows it to be a community in which anyone can find a niche.
