Roger Linhart joined Portland State University in December 2011 as an Software Packager with the Client Systems Administration (CSA) team in OIT. During his six months in this position, worked with CSA to establish software application delivery operating procedures and was responsible for campus wide updates of Java and Flash Player. Roger transferred to his current position of Application Support Specialist in June 2012 where he provides excellent customer support for Singularity and OnBase enterprise document imaging services.

A native to beautiful Southern Oregon, prior to joining Portland State University, Roger provided 10 years of technical expertise and leadership at Southern Oregon University. He was responsible for operating the Help Desk and the 125-seat Main Computer Lab. He supervised the team responsible for Windows and Macintosh Operating System and Application Software Deployments, and was the project lead for the campus conversion from Novell to Microsoft Active Directory and from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Roger enjoys exploring Portland with his lovely wife, Bonnie, of over 30 years and visiting their three children (aged from 25 to 30) and two grandchildren. He also enjoys electronic gaming on one of the several computers on his home network or PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. On weekends he can be found in the back yard BBQing or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen with Bonnie.
