Meet research analyst Marjorie McGee
Meet research analyst Marjorie McGee

Marjorie McGee, PhD, is the lead research analyst in the PSU Center for Student Success. She is a graduate of Whitman College, has an MS from Western Oregon University, and holds a doctorate in Social Work Research from PSU. Her analytical skills include the ability to conduct: statistical analyses using complex survey data, longitudinal analyses, as well other statistical analyses using an intersectional, inter-categorical approach to examine educational disparities by multiple social statuses. Much of her current work involves examining the impact of educational programming on the achievement gap. Her current research interests are primarily focused upon examining the connections between disability status and social inequities, with a focus on the effects of disablism. She is keen on conducting research using an intersectional lens, for example,  examining the effects of disability status along with other social statuses, such as race/ethnicity and sexual orientation, on social inequities in health, education and employment.
