Dr. Lauren Frank specializes in public health communication, organizational communication, and mass media research. She is particularly interested in how people's work, media, and social environments may influence their health decisions. Her recent research projects have included a social network analysis of the influence of work groups on individual's social norms and attitudes. She has also worked with the BBC World Service Trust and the InterMedia Research Collaborative to examine the influence of media campaigns on behaviors. Lauren is currently conducting research for NIH grants examining the multi-level influences on cervical cancer prevention.
