Meet Professor Ben Perkins
Dr. Ben Perkins earned his PhD from PSU in 2000. His research interests are in water and sediment geochemistry, with a focus on mineral-water reactions, paleo-environmental reconstructions, and groundwater characterization and sourcing. He teaches courses in the areas of groundwater geology, chemical hydrogeology, and environmental geochemistry, among others.
Dr. Perkins also directs the Trace Element Analytical Laboratory, housed in the Geology Department.
