Karen is an academic adviser and the international student liaison in Advising & Career Services. She has a background in counseling and mental health, and has worked extensively with international and U.S. students at the university level.

She has also traveled throughout Europe and the Middle East and hopes to see even more of the world! In her free time Karen loves to go camping and hiking, especially in the Northwest, and also enjoys seeing foreign and independent films, going to bookstores, and knitting.
