Donald graduated from Portland State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Currently, he is pursuing his master’s in mechanical engineering at PSU, while working as a research assistant. He lists careers highlights as his participation in the NASA SEED program and flying aboard the “Weightless Wonder.” Donald is working with Professor Mark Weislogel who he says has an inspiring enthusiasm for innovation. “It is an honor to receive the Maseeh Fellowship and it cemented my decision to remain at Portland State for my master’s degree,” writes Donald. His career goal is to become a design engineer in the mechanical field. He would like to work for a company involved in innovative research and development in the field of aerospace or control systems.
