Profile: Meet Dee Wendler

Who are you going to call when it comes to financial matters at Portland State University? Dee Wendler, Associate Vice President for Finance & PSU's Controller.

As the University's controller, Dee is one of our chief financial officers and supervisor of PSU's financial affairs. Whether your business with Portland State involves Financial Aid; Business Affairs; Property Management and Leasing; the Portland State Business Accelerator or Purchasing and Contracting Services your financial affairs will be under the watchful eye of Dee Wendler. For those of us who routinely work in these areas this is comforting news indeed because Dee is one of the most creative and experienced fiscal managers in the Oregon University System.

In addition to her Bachelors in Business Administration and Masters in Public Administration Dee is always working to increase her skill set and is now certified in Oregon as a Commercial Real Estate Developer. Her secret skill? Dee is the unofficial coach of the women's tug of war team at the annual FADM picnic.
