Profile

Lauren Muñoz-Tremblay is a junior, double majoring in Biology and Psychology.  Her goal of going to medical school was enhanced by her previous work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She now regularly shadows an internal medicine specialist at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital. Her fascination with scientific research earned her a position in a laboratory at Portland State University in which she is investigating the resilience of invasive species. She is co-leader of LSAMP’s Community Action Team, a member of the LSAMP Student Advisory Board, and an LSAMP Chemistry and Biology Peer Tutor.
