Education: MSW Portland State University; BA University of Oregon, Russian and Community Services and Public Affairs
Experience: Kris has been with the Child Welfare Partnership for 13 years and worked for the State of Oregon Child Welfare program for 22 years prior to joining the Partnership. She also has experience as a medical social worker in both hospital and dialysis setting. Kris maintains a rich private practice after hours and is EMDR trained.
Teaching/Training Areas: Kris has expertise in foster care certification, the unique issues of relative caregivers, adoption topics and training techniques. She provides train the trainer courses both locally and nationally.
Interests: Travel, biking (Cycle Oregon weekend!), walking long distances and the outdoors in general.
