Katerina Bohadlova is a Fulbright Scholar in the Theater Arts Department at PSU. She received her Ph.D. from Charles University in Prague in German and Italian Language and Literature. Her work focuses on Baroque Theater in Central Europe and explores the migration of theater texts between nations and culture. As a core member of the Prague-based theater company Geisslers Hofcomoedianten, she wears many hats, including translator, dramaturg, actress, and production manager. She presented her work in progress (Everything you always wanted to know about Commedia dell’Arte (but were afraid to ask)) at the Faculty Lunch and Lecture Series organized by the Portland Center for Public Humanities.
