Profile

Emma first began working at Campus Rec in 2009 as a Member Services Assistant. She then became an Office Assistant in 2010 and was promoted to Office Assistant Student Coordinator in 2011. As a student coordinator, Emma helps increase the efficiency of the office, support her supervisor and the fantastic Office Assistant team, and increase partnerships across PSU Campus Departments. Before transferring to PSU, Emma spent a year at Fresno Pacific University, in California on academic, track & field, and vocal music scholarships. Once back in her home state, she started to focus on pre-medical studies—researching at OHSU, shadowing local physicians, and volunteering in health-related pursuits in the community. Emma is currently finishing up her bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry, Health Sciences, and General Science and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2013. After graduation, Emma will head off to a medical school, with the goal of becoming a Family Practice Physician with an emphasis on Sports and Preventative Medicine.
