Experience: Dan Embree is a national speaker, consultant and trainer for many organizations and governmental agencies serving youth and families throughout the U.S. Dan has over 18 years of experience implementing Wraparound and building Systems of Care in rural and urban settings. He specializes in best practices related to family-driven, youth-guided, culturally competent, team-based work. Dan worked for a nationally recognized Systems of Care project for over 10 years; provided oversight for a $10 million local Wraparound contract with the Juvenile Court, Department of Child Services and the Department of Education; as well as a 6 year SOC grant from SAMHSA. At the Systems of Care Institute, Dan currently provides Wraparound training and technical assistance to the Oregon Statewide Children’s Wraparound Initiative and local Systems of Care projects in Oregon and Washington.
Teaching/Training Areas: Dan provides leadership and training in innovative practices related to systems of care, wraparound, child welfare, education, juvenile justice and mental health.
