Catherine Loverti. Panelist at the Portland Center for Public Humanities

Catherine Loverti teaches in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Lewis and Clark College. Her academic work investigates the genre of ‘life writing’ and how different authors respond to the radical challenges posed to the notion of truth in writing about oneself and others. In October 2013 she will will participate in the panel A Day in the Life: Memory, Authenticity & the Genre of Memoir at the Portland Center for Public Humanities.
