Annie Lawrence received her Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science from Oregon State University in 2006. Her focus was in Terrestrial Ecology and she minored in Spanish. After graduation, Annie volunteered for the Peace Corps in Bolivia, worked as a Botany field instructor at Outdoor School, and taught Spanish at a private school for two years.
Annie is currently working on an MST in General Science and is a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Science Education. Her working thesis title is, "Sustainability Education as a framework for enhancing environmental stewardship in young leaders: An intervention at Tryon Creek nature camp." Annie hopes to be an outdoor science educator for a park or nature center upon graduating next June.
