	Our Community Partner: Oregon Center for Environmental Health OCEH is a non-profit, member-based organization dedicated to reducing and eliminating toxic chemicals that are long-lasting and build up in living tissues, threatening the health and reproductive viability of humans and wildlife. PSU students serve as mentors and tutors to groups of first generation high school students in an attempt to facilitate the completion of their high school studies and introduce them to college life. 	Our Community Partner: PCC Native Literacy Program Spanish-speaking adults who have had little opportunity to recieve formal education come to the Adult Native Literacy Program for basic literacy classes. PSU students volunteer as tutors for the Native Literacy Project.	Community Partnership

	Our Community Partner: El Programa Hispano El Programa Hispano provides a comprehensive array of social and mental health services to low-income Latinos who speak little or no English and live in the Portland-area. 	Our Community Partner: Sisters of the Road Sisters Of the Road Cafh is a non-profit restaurant open to the public. An estimated 250-300 meals are served daily through SOTR's Hot Meals Program. Meals are given free of charge to all first time visitors to the cafi and to those who are unable to pay and cannot work because of age, ill health or parenting responsibilities. 	Our Community Partner: YWCA Yolanda House The YWCA's Yolanda House is an emergency shelter and service program for women survivors of domestic or sexual violence and their children. 	Our Community Partner: LISTOS Alternative Learning Center LISTOS serves high-risk Hispanic and other high school students who have left the public school system. Last year, LISTOS educated over 150 young people in order to improve their skills in language, math, social studies and science.	Community Partnership
	Our Community Partner: Youth Employment Institute The Youth Employment Institute is a nonprofit organization that provides employment, education and training program for high risk youth. The YEI partners with Portland State to provide field learning experiences. All youth are taught life skills, basic employment readiness training, and receive job search assistance. OUV invites everyone in a neighborhood to Neighborhood Conversations, where they provide facilitation, food, and necessary accommodations for 2 = hour-long discussions designed to encourage neighbors to share their hopes and ideas with each other. 	Our Community Partner: Northwest Film Center This partnership combines the practical filmmaking resources of the NWFC with PSU's academic expertise. Students can take classes at the NWFC for PSU credit, and vice versa. Students are able to concurrently register for individual classes, pursue a BA or BS in Film and/or a Minor in Film Studies in the School of Theatre & Film at PSU, and pursue a Certificate in Film Studies at NWFC. 	Our Community Partner: Kenton Elementary School The Jazz Outreach Forum Senior Capstone - PSU Capstone students design and deliver an arts education curriculum that incorporates jazz to enhance student learning outcomes in mathematics and reading.	Community Partnership
	Our Community Partner: Portland Parks and Recreation Oaks Bottom Signage Project - Students studied the Oaks Bottom Refuge and created interpretive signs for the public's benefit on proper use and care of the sensitive wetland area.	Community Partnership
	Our Community Partner: Oregon Post-Adoption Resource Center This partnership between the PSU Graduate School of Social Work, PSU Continuing Education, the Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center (ORPARC) and the State of Oregon Department of Human Services provides post-graduate education for mental health professionals regarding specialized theories and practices for treating adopted children.
