Portland State Alumnus Douglas Soesbe is a story analyst and editor working for NBCUniversal. He recently wrote a feature film entitled “Boulevard.” It is being shot in May of this year with Robin Williams starring. It will be directed by Dito Montiel, whose film, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, is a previous Sundance winner.

This partnership combines the practical filmmaking resources of the NWFC with PSU's academic expertise. Students can take classes at the NWFC for PSU credit, and vice versa. Students are able to concurrently register for individual classes, pursue a BA or BS in Film and/or a Minor in Film Studies in the School of Theatre & Film at PSU, and pursue a Certificate in Film Studies at NWFC.
