The United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Office of Citizens Exchange awarded a 2-year (2012-2014) grant to the Hatfield School of Government's Center for Public Service at Portland State University to implement a two-way exchange program between Vietnamase and American mid-level professionals.  The Professional Fellows Program is a four-part Economic Empowerment Program for approximately 32 mid-level professionals - 16 participants from Vietnam, and approximately 16 U.S. participants.

Our goal is to promote mutually beneficial partnerships between Vietnamese and U.S. professionals.  Vietnamese professionals have the opportunity to gain knowledge of U.S. economic empowerment practices through the knowledge of professionals in the United States.
