Project Awareness, the Right Tools, and True Communication
Project managers and teams are being asked to do more with less, while continuing to be innovative, agile, and responsive. Today's organizations need to develop project managers who can complete projects on time and on budget. Even more critically, organizations must develop and leverage project management capability into a competitive advantage.
Our Project Management Certificate gives you the tools you need to successfully manage projects in any industry, regardless of size, scope or budget. In addition, we have a variety of seminars and workshops to help keep your skills updated. These provide a variety of practical approaches and tools you will be able to use on the job immediately. All of our courses, seminars, and workshops are approved PDUs for earning and maintaining your PMP® credentials.
To earn the Project Management certificate, complete the following four courses within three years. The courses are offered multiple times a year in Portland, and currently once a year in Hood River. Click the course titles for course descriptions and to register. We recommend you take the courses in the order listed below:
- Project Planning and Organization
- Project Management Communications and Teamwork
- Project Management Tools
- Project Leadership and Conflict Management
We require program completion within three years for good reason. PDC courses are continuously updated to ensure that you learn the most up-to-date and relevant information. Courses completed outside of the three-year limit will need to be retaken for certificate completion.
Planning to earn your PMP® Certificate? The best way to prepare for the exam is to take our four day intensive PMP® Exam Prep Boot Camp course. This course, along with all of our courses, can also be used to satisfy PMP® education and professional development requirements (PDUs).
