Portland State University Professional Development Center courses are taught in state-of-the-art classrooms in downtown Portland, giving students and instructors a modern learning environment in the vibrant heart of the city.

Many students and faculty of Portland State University take public transportation every day. It’s convenient and economical, and bus, train, and streetcar stops are within one or two blocks of the Professional Development Center location.

You can reach the Fifth Avenue office via street car east bound by stopping at Market Street (Stop ID 10762), or west bound by stopping at Urban Center Plaza (Stop ID 10764). The south bound MAX Green and Yellow MAX trains stop at SW 5th and Mill (Stop ID 7618) and head north bound from SW 6th and Montgomery (Stop ID 7774). Bus lines stop south bound at SW 5th and Columbia, Clay, and Market, and north bound at SW 5th and Market, Clay, Columbia, and Jefferson.

Our main office is located at 1515 SW Fifth Avenue in downtown Portland. We also offer courses at the PSU Salem Center and at Columbia Gorge Community College.
