WHAT: A Portland local relief effort to raise awareness and raise funds for the victims of the recent typhoon in the Philippines. Stronger than Hurricane Katrina, Typhoon Haiyan killed more than 10,000 people and displaced millions of Filipinos. The event is being organized by students, alumni and community members from Portland State University's Kaibigan - Filipino American Student Association - Alumni Advisory Board and the Portland Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines (PCHRP).

All the donations will go to the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (NAFCON) where 100% of the funds go directly to grassroots efforts.
