Teaching and Training

The following courses involving Geographic Information Systems and Science are regularly offered by PRC staff as a part of the Master of Urban and Regional Planning curriculum:

"Geographic Data Analysis and Display" (USP 531)
"Geography Applications to Planning" (USP 543)

Additionally, PRC staff developed and recently taught courses in applications of GIS for population studies, community development, urban studies, and business administration at the upper undergraduate and graduate levels.

PRC staff has experience in offering one- and two-days workshops on utilizing GIS for analysis and mapping of census data. Please contact us for details.
