The Population Research Center provides city population projections on a cost reimbursable basis. The purpose of such projections is to assist cities in their long-term planning and the evaluation of needs for city services. In recent years, we have made city projections for Brookings, Dallas, Independence, Lincoln City, Monmouth, and The City of the Dalles, all cities in Oregon. The work can be conducted either directly with city government, or in partnerships with consulting firms retained by the city.
