PCRE consists of the following five departments who work together to create and maintain an appealing and sustainable campus:
The Campus Planning Office works on integrated physical development planning processes that are guided by academic, research and student success priorities and goals. Campus planning activities include facilities and space planning, transportation planning, campus design, space programming and real estate management.
The Campus Sustainability Office works to ensure continuous improvement in resource conservation in campus operations, benchmarks sustainability performance, and facilitates collaboration to implement sustainability projects on campus.
Capital Projects and Construction oversees all renovation and construction projects on campus and maintains a comprehensive collection of building plans, construction records, campus maps, and construction related studies and reports.
Facilities and Property Management provides maintenance, repair, landscaping and custodial services for academic facilities and grounds. Facilities and Property Management also provides construction and renovation project support, and manages tenant-occupied spaces on campus.
Materials Management Services support the goals of PSU by managing the university's mail, shipping, receiving and central stores, coordinating campus moves and surplus, and assisting with event set-up and other customer related services.
Transportation and Parking Services provide transportation options and associated services to students, faculty, staff and university guests. TAPS emphasizes service and assistance while maintaining safe, convenient and sustainable commuting options for the PSU community.
