Viking Days: September 23-29, 2013

Viking Days is PSU's opportunity to welcome new students into the campus community and kick-off your academic year with a series of amazing events. These days are designed to help you connect with the academic, cultural, and social opportunities on campus. Get ready to meet other new students, develop friendships, connect to organizations, and have a blast!

With more than 150 events, you will have many opportunities to connect with PSU! The full schedule can be viewed by event title or by date and time. Whether you are looking for that perfect student group to join or finding something to do for a few hours on campus, check out these sites to learn what Viking Days has in store for you.

Featured Events

During Viking Days, there are several events intended for all new PSU students to enjoy, such as block parties, movie showings, a home Vikings football game, and more. The Featured Events will be posted in August 2013.

Event Organizers

All departments, student groups, and organizations at PSU are encouraged to host events during Viking Days. Please note that the deadline for submitting events is July 31, 2013.

Party in the Park

Immediately following Viking Days, plan to participate in Party in the Park, which occurs on the first Thursday of fall term. Party in the Park draws thousands of new PSU students to the Park Blocks for a day of free food, entertainment, networking, and information about campus activities. To learn more, visit:

Dollars and Sense

Did you know that all PSU students have access to a FREE financial literacy tool? Dollars and Sense features an online module called Financial Literacy 101 that will help you with monthly budgeting, learning more about credit scores and debt, understanding student loans, and much more.
