Profile: Meet Katie

She is a member of the orientation team.

Katie was born and (for the most part) raised in the San Francisco Bay area, but chose to hang her hat in Oregon nearly 8 years ago. She attended a smaller high school in Southern Oregon where she met and fell in love with her now-husband. After dabbling in community college, she took a brief break from higher education to work full-time. Currently, she works on-and-off as a receptionist at a community center where she meets all sorts of interesting people, but is first and foremost committed to her education, family and friends. In her spare time, she likes to read all sorts of stuff, paint, ride her bike and snuggle with her cat, Lobster.
