Profile: Meet Chelinda
Chelinda was born in Portland but grew up across the river in Washington. She recently left her career in libraries to pursue a teaching career after reading a series of historical novels and becoming obsessed with women's roles throughout the ages. Majoring in History with minors in English and Women's Studies, Chelinda initially visited PSU on the advice of a friend. After touring the campus and drooling over the history courses offered, she gleefully transferred to PSU. When she is not spending time with her two sons, she enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the world.
