She is a returning member of the orientation team.
Alexis is majoring in Sociology, minoring in Sexuality, Gender and Queer Studies and French. She spent the ‘07–‘08 school year in Paris practicing her French in a theater class at the Sorbonne. Her hometown is Olympia, Washington. She chose Portland State because she liked the city, and the University Studies program (she didn't want to take science courses). She is interested in teaching communities, especially teenagers, about dating violence and safe relating. At PSU, she has been involved in choir, theater productions, student ambassadors, orientation and work-study in the advising office. Alexis loves tea, musical theater, learning and bicycling.
