Transportation: .
Parking:
- Students who plan to park on campus should purchase a PSU student permit. There are a variety of permit options available to meet your needs ranging from $64 to $279 per term. It is advised that you reserve a permit on-line prior to the start of the term as there is a limit to the number of permits available and many permits do sell-out. For information, please visit www.aux.pdx.edu/transport.
Public Transportation:
- As PSU is located in downtown Portland, parking on campus is limited. We therefore encourage that students walk, bike, or take public transportation to campus. A student-discounted Flexpass provides PSU students with all-zone access to the MAX light-rail, buses, and the Portland Streetcar operated by Tri-Met in addition to membership in the bicycle co-op and other benefits. During fall, winter and spring terms, the Flexpass is available to all students registered for at least 3 credit hours for about $150 per term.
How to reserve a Flexpass or Parking Permit:
- Students must be registered for classes prior to purchasing either a Flexpass or a parking permit. Reserve a Flexpass or Parking Permit during the designated 'Reservation Period' for each term via the Student Information System (banweb.pdx.edu). About one week after the 'Reservation Period' has concluded students may pick up their parking permit or Flexpass validation sticker at the Parking Office in Neuberger Lobby. Also at this time, any remaining permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Parking Office in Neuberger Hall lobby.

Books may also be purchased on the web at www.portlandstatebookstore.com.

Computer access:
- Once you register for classes at Orientation, set-up an ODIN account (PSU email/computer access account). Go to www.account.pdx.edu for details. This account: allows students to access PSU's computer labs and wireless network, includes a 1000-page printing allowance per term, and includes a PSU e-mail account and electronic storage space on PSU servers.

Future Terms:
- Meet with an academic adviser to plan future terms, in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center and your Major department or college.
- For future terms, students register for classes based on their class standing (e.g. Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman). Registration information will be available in the Schedule of Classes published online each term on the Registration website. You are held financially accountable for all courses for which you register even if you never attend class. If you no longer want to take a course, you must drop the course early in order to recieve up to a 100% refund for the course tuition. Drop/add dates, refund period dates, and other important dates may be found in the Academic Calendar. As summer courses operate on a vastly different time schedule, view the Summer term Schedule of Classes for respective dates.
