Future Terms

We are in the process of finalizing Orientation dates for future PSU undergraduates. We will notify all admitted undergraduate students via email and U.S. post as soon as sessions have been finalized.

Orientation sessions are scheduled during the term prior to the term for which you are admitted to PSU. We schedule a number of sessions so that you may choose a session that best fits your schedule - you should try to attend the earliest possible session.

If you would like to get started now so that you have a basic understanding prior to Orientation, you might explore the information below:

1. View the Schedule of Classes and the Portland State University Bulletin online (you will be provided a hard copy of these materials at Orientation).
2. Review the information on the academic advising web page in order to begin to understand your academic requirements.
3. Consider your options from the list of majors that we offer. Keep in mind that there are academic requirements in addition to those required by your major that you must complete in order to graduate from PSU.
4. Log into the PSU Student Information System and learn the variety of tools that are available to you including verifying the status of your Financial Aid (if applicable), and updating your Degree Audit Report that will help you to track your remaining requirements for graduate as you progress through your academic program at Portland State.

In addition to learning your academic requirements, you'll want to be sure that you:

• Have submitted all outstanding paperwork - including, but not limited to:
  • Final High School Transcripts - submit to the PSU Admissions Office;
  • Test Scores - submit to the Admissions Office;
  • Proof of Measles Vaccination/Exemption - submit to Student Health and Counseling Office;
  • Financial aid materials (if applicable);
  • Housing application/materials (if applicable);
• Learn about the variety of ways to get involved in the variety of student activities available at Portland State;
• Learn about the variety of campus recreation opportunities;
• Familiarize yourself with the variety of campus services available to Portland State students;
