Updating Odin Password on Mobile Devices

All Odin account owners are required to periodically change their passwords. When this occurs, you may need to update your email and Wi-Fi login credentials. Find your device below for directions:

Updating Wi-Fi Password

iOS

  1. Press the Home button on your device, if you are not already on the Home screen.
  2. Choose Settings, then select Wi-Fi.
  3. After a moment, a list of available networks will appear on the screen. Select the blue arrow button beside the network called “PSU Secure.”
  4. If you are prompted for your new password, enter it here. If not, continue to the next step.
  5. Select “Forget this Network”.
  6. Select Forget.
  7. Navigate back to the Wi-Fi screen and select “PSU Secure” from the list of networks.
  8. Enter your Odin username and password when prompted.
  9. Accept the security certificate.
  10. After you are automatically returned to the Wi-Fi screen, a check mark should appear beside “PSU Secure” to indicate that you are connected and your new login credentials have been saved.

Android

  1. Go to the Apps Drawer.
  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Press and hold Wi-Fi.
  4. Select Modify Network.
  5. Select Password to modify it.

Updating PSU Gmail Password

iOS

  1. Press the Home button on your device, if you are not already on the Home screen.
  2. Choose Settings, then select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Select your PSU Gmail account.
  4. Select Account.
  5. Reenter your password.

Android 4.2, Jelly Bean + All Nexus Devices

Note that you cannot change your password for your Google account on an Android device. Instead you will need to remove the account and add it again, using the following steps:

  1. Go to your Settings.
  2. Select "Accounts".
  3. Select Google.
  4. Select your PSU Gmail account.
  5. Select the icon or link in the right corner of the screen and choose "Remove account". This will delete your account from your mobile device, but it will not delete the cloud.
  6. Confirm the deletion.

Now you must re-add the account back to your device:

  1. Select Add Account.
  2. Select Google.
  3. Select Sign In.
  4. Select Existing.
  5. Sign in with your Odin account.
  6. Set Sync options:
    • Sync Books: OFF
    • Sync Contacts: ON
    • Sync Docs: ON
    • Sync Calendar: ON
    • Sync Mail: ON
  7. Sync should now be finished!
