STEP Student Group Hosts "Women in Transportation" Panel in new ITS Lab

Nearly 25 students attended a panel presentation hosted by the Students
in Transportation Engineering and Planning. The panel included a
distinguished group of local leader in transportation including Eileen Argentina (PDOT),
Cathy Nelson (ODOT),
Tara Weidner (Parsons Brinckerhoff),
Beth Wemple (Kittelson And Associates) and Bridget Weighart (METRO).
The panel discussed challenges and opportunities for women in
transportation. The students modeled the discussion after a panel
meeting they attended at the Transportation Research Board meeting in
