The ivory jack is the phone jack. The red/orange jack is the data (internet) jack. The coaxial cable is for the cable TV access. Please note that all ResNet1 jacks are orange.
In Blumel, your active jacks should be in your front room. Only one orange ResNet1 jack is active.
In Broadway, your active jacks should be in your front room, on the same side of your room as the door. On floors 3-6, the orange data jack on the faceplate is active. Floors 7-10 have one active orange data jack found directly under the cable TV jack.
In Epler Hall, your active voice, data, and television jacks should be in your front room, opposite the sink. On the 6th floor, both orange jacks are active and are located under the cable TV jack on the faceplates.
In Ondine, your active jacks should be in your front room. The jack labeled with an “A” (located directly below the ivory phone jack) is the active ResNet1 jack.
In Parkway, your active jacks should be in your front room.
Blackstone, King Albert, Montgomery, St. Helens, and Stratford
As a general rule for historic PSU buildings, the jacks closest to your entry door will be the active jacks.
