Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) The AGHE is the international leader in advancing education on aging and is the only institutional membership organization devoted primarily to gerontology and geriatrics education. AGHE's mission is to advance gerontology and geriatrics education in academic institutions; and to provide leadership and support of gerontology and geriatrics education faculty and students at education institutions.
Creating Enriched Clinical Learning Environments Through Partnerships in Long-Term Care (ECLEPs) ECLEPs is a partnership of academic, practice, regulatory, and professional organizations that recognize that clinical learning experiences in long-term care are often avoided and not valued by nursing faculty or students. Created in 2006, ECLEPs provides training and resources to develop nursing homes and assisted living facilities as excellent clinical sites for nursing students to learn best practices in care of older adults.
Portland State University Library The PSU library is integrated into the university's instructional and scholarly fabric, and is actively involved with local, regional, and national user communities. DHHS Administration on Aging (AoA) The AoA is the Federal agency responsible for advancing the concerns and interests of older people and their caregivers.
