Lifecom, Inc. Announces Series A Financing

Lifecom, Inc., a market leader in clinical decision support solutions, today announced that it has completed a Series A Financing in excess of $1,000,000. Portland area angel investors led the financing round. The company will use the funding to accelerate investments in sales and marketing, product development and engineering. 

Lifecom’s CEO and Founder Dr. Steve Datena noted, “Making a difference can sound like such a cliché, but that’s what this is really all about. Lifecom is also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Charles Kilo, Chief Medical Officer, Oregon Health & Sciences University, to its Board of Directors. “Lifecom is on the forefront of changing how we think about clinical decision support solutions. Their novel approach is truly revolutionary. I am excited to be working with the Company as it changes the healthcare landscape,” Dr. Kilo stated. Dr. Kilo is also the President of GreenField Health and a former Vice President for the Boston-based Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
