The study, done for Metro Parks and Greenspaces, examines the potential for a multiuse pathway in the northern portion of the Banfield Corridor from the Willamette River to I-205 at Rocky Butte. The trail is already identified on the Metro Regional Trails Map and in the Portland Bicycle Master Plan. The MURP planning study follows a recent engineering study done by PSU undergraduates, which identified the trail alignment.
The goal of the present study is to
conduct outreach and answer key client questions regarding opportunities and constraints, in order to qualify the project for further study in the next round of MTIP funding.
Team Members: Michael Hoffmann, Darren Muldoon, Joseph Schaefer & Morgan Will.
