Since 2002, PSU has relied on Chief Soto and his hard working officers to “keep the peace” at Portland State. Open all day, every day, the Campus Public Safety Office (CPSO) is one of PSU’s most important service centers. All of Mike’s officers attend the Public Safety Standards and Training Academy and are commissioned by the State of Oregon to enforce state laws, and university regulations. The five tenants of CPSO’s mission are: Service, Respect, Resource, Partnership and Commitment and we can count on Chief Soto to make sure his office lives this mission everyday.
