Dr. Jennifer H. Allen is the Acting Director of the Center for Sustainable Processes and Practices at Portland State University. In this role, she supports the development of sustainability-related research and curricula across campus, as well as fostering partnerships between PSU and other institutions in the region and internationally. Her academic training is in Environmental Science and Public Policy – she holds degrees from Yale University, Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and George Mason University. Jennifer’s personal research interests encompass sustainable agriculture, green building, and sustainable economic development. In addition to her work at PSU, Jennifer serves on the boards of the Food Alliance, Shorebank Pacific, Portland Energy Conservation Inc., and Illahee.
