Profile: Meet Student Ambassador Lucius Shields

Major: Business Marketing

Lucius is a junior at Portland State this year and will be majoring in Political science with a minor in International Studies. He is originally is from New Jersey moved out to Oregon for a new perspective.   He is involved in the Multnomah Youth Commission. This commission was designed by the city for youth advocacy in government and voting.  He is hoping to provide and older perspective to the organization. Further to learn more about the local government process work. After graduating from Portland State he plans to go to law school.   His interests are public policy and government.  Further he hopes to travel to the Dominican Republic to become fluent at Spanish. Lucius’s goals are to work for the federal or state government as a profession.
