Profile: Meet Professor Jennifer Dill

B.S. (Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning) 1987, UC Davis; M.A. (Urban Planning) 1989, UCLA; Ph.D. (City and Regional Planning) 2001, UC Berkeley.

Dr. Dill teaches courses in transportation policy, transportationand land use, and planning methods. Her research interests focus ontransportation and environmental planning, travel behavior,transportation finance, and transportation-land use interactions. Sheis interested in answering these questions: How do people make their travel and location decisions? How do those decisions impactthe environment and people's health? How do our planning decisionsimpact people's travel and location decisions? Current researchprojects focus on travel behavior, bicycling, transit-orienteddevelopments, active living policies, and environmental fees fortransportation. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Dill worked as anenvironmental and transportation planner in California.
