Alex Accetta, Student Affairs, won the Will Holsberry Endowed Scholarship, which is awarded to an individual who mirrors Holsberry's "vision, dedication, persistence and commitment to the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association." The award pays for attendance to the Level II School of Recreation Management and was presented at the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association National Conference Opening Session in Austin, April 2.

Jackie Balzer, dean of Student Life at Oregon State University, has been named vice provost for Student Affairs at Portland State University effective July 1, 2008.
