Micki Caskey, Curriculum and Instruction faculty, co-presented the sessions "Creating and Sustaining Healthy Teams: What Teachers and Principals Really Want to Know," "Research and Resources in Support of This We Believe: Assessment to Promote Learning," "Spotlight on Research," "Pathways to Publication," and "Writing for Publication Demystified" at the National Middle School Association Conference in Denver, Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Caskey also continued her service as chair of the association's Research Advisory Board.

Christine Cress, Education faculty, presented "Pedagogía Comunitaria" and "Facilitating Latino Student Civic Engagement Leadership through a Pedagogy of Community" at the International Research Conference on Service-Learning and Community Engagement in New Orleans, Oct. 25-28.
