Mail Services

The campus mail service collects and distributes intercampus mail among departments/units, colleges/schools, administrative offices, committees, and registered employee groups. Shuttle mail services connect the University to other institutions in the Oregon University System, including state offices in Salem. Campus mail couriers pick up and deliver campus mail and U.S. mail twice daily from campus offices. For special services such as overnight delivery and Federal Express, faculty members should contact their department/unit support personnel.

Merit Salary Increases

Merit adjustments for full-time faculty, when available, are made on an individual basis. Procedures for the determination of merit increases including the redress of inequities shall be in accordance with the "Portland State University Policies and Procedures for the Evaluation of Faculty Members for Tenure, Promotion and Salary Increases." Millar Award

The Branford Price Millar Award is given annually to a faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, instruction, University service, and public service, and whose performance in the area of scholarship and research is judged to be exceptional - values recognized by the late Branford P. Millar, a distinguished president of the University. Nominations are solicited by the Office of Academic Affairs each spring.

Multimedia Projects

Instructional Technology Services designs and programs projects incorporating text, illustrations, photographs, audio, and video which may be output to streaming media, on-screen presentations, or blank media.
