Victoria Belco receives Fulbright
Victoria Belco, History faculty, has been awarded a Fulbright grant to conduct research in Italy on “Crime and Criminal Justice in Fascist Italy.” She will be conducting archival research primarily at the state archive in Florence, and the host institution is the University of Bologna. |

Anna-Louise Reysenbach participates in deep-sea research expedition
Anna-Louise Reysenbach, Biology faculty, just returned from a deep-sea research expedition, funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to investigate a new undersea volcanic eruption near Tonga in the Southwestern Pacific. The research team was the first ever to observe, sample, and document a volcanic eruption as deep as 1,200 meters. |

William York to participate in National Endowment for the Humanities summer seminar

Rik Lemoncello chosen to attend Lessons for Success workshop
Rik Lemoncello, Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty, was selected from among the top 20 new faculty nationwide to attend the annual Lessons for Success workshop, sponsored by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association April 30 and May 1 in Rockville, Md. The workshop helps new faculty with grant writing and balancing professional responsibilities in academia. |
