David Percy elected to Geoscience Information Commission
David Percy, Geology faculty, was elected to a four-year term on the Commission for the Management and Application of Geoscience Information, which reports to the International Union of Geological Sciences. The commission is primarily responsible for coordinating the development of GeoSciML, a data exchange format for geological data, and the OneGeology effort to bring together all the world's geological maps at a scale of 1:1M or better. |
