Students' photographic perspectives on clean water, green architecture, guerrilla gardening, and other personal and community sustainability efforts are on display and for sale at six locations during the Last Thursday NE Alberta Art Walk May 28 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Students explored the power of art as an agent for political and social change in professor Jamie Ross's freshman inquiry class, The Work of Art. Sabin Community Development Corporation was also a sponsor of the project.
The student photos are featured at Fuel Café, 1452 NE Alberta St.; Mabel and Zora, 1468 NE Alberta St.; Sabin CDC, 1488 NE Alberta St.; Alberta Cooperative Grocery, 1500 NE Alberta St.; Origin Flowers, 1534 NE Alberta St.; and Helser's on Alberta, 1538 NE Alberta St.
